As per our previous email in December, Microsoft have price increases for 2022 – this will affect you whether your billing is done through ourselves, another Microsoft Partner or Microsoft directly.
The first change is a price increase on some licenses. There is also an additional 20% charge for ALL licenses on a monthly commitment (Microsoft NCE). Both will take effect from 1st March 2022.

A. Unless we hear from you before 1st March 2022, we’ll be putting all customers on the Monthly commitment option.
Q. WHAT IS NCE?
A. The New Commerce Experience (NCE) is the latest pricing model for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Windows 365, and Power Platform subscriptions. NCE was designed to reduce complexity in billing processes and provide cost savings for longer term subscriptions.

A. 1st March 2022
Q. WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU?
A. NCE will change how you purchase Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365. Through NCE you will have the option of either an annual or monthly subscription.
Monthly Commitment
You will be able to make changes to your licenses in a 72-hour window once per month. This option is the most flexible and is like your current licensing but comes at a price premium – this would be a 20% increase. Seat additions can take place at any time, so you can add to your agreement like normal, however reductions can only happen in that 72-hour window each month. Not all licenses/products are available on this model – please see the table below.
Annual Commitment
You will be able to make changes to your licenses in a 72-hour window once a year. This option is less flexible than the above but is not subject to the price premium and therefore is cheaper than its monthly counterpart. License additions are also allowed at any time.
