On Friday 12th May 2017 a new strain of ransomware called WannaCry globally targetted Windows Computers in at least 70 countries, causing major disruption to large organisations such as the UK’s NHS.

New variants of Cryptolocker are coming thick and fast, we have had businesses recently contact us with TeslaCrypt 2.0, Cryptowall 3.0 and with Cryptowall 4.0 in the wild now it’s going to become harder to restore quickly from an infection.
